Advice by a guy who likes football: you should tone it down when it comes to what players you think are hot. That's why guys don't respect girls when it comes to football: they might now a thing or two, but they ruin it by being too vocal about the player's looks.

A

headsupgirl:

advice by a girl who doesn’t give a fuck: the reason why guys don’t respect girls when it comes to football is because those guys are insecure little pricks who are scared of a vagina with an opinion on something they consider to be strictly masculine and they try to disguise it as respect. ironically enough, we don’t want to be within a one mile radius of guys like you, so don’t worry, you’re safe, your home made girl repellent is working.

i’ve got news for you and the rest of the male chauvinistic pigs out there: a girl equalizing you in football knowledge does not make you less of a man. being a sexist ass with no balls to even show his face does. because a real man acknowledges a woman’s opinion without trying to resort to biology to rule it out.

YOU should tone it down with the pep talk, buddy. i’m not apologizing for being a football fan who happens to be a straight woman. life is not a video game, you don’t need man points to get to the next level.

Ms Marvel (2014) #7

Hey hey I drew that!
Ms Marvel 07 is waiting for you in your Local Comic Shop. I drew the pictures, Ian Herring brought the color, G. Willow Wilson wrote the words and Sana Amanat made it all happen.
This issue concludes my little run on Ms Marvel. It was a pleasure and a privilege to be able to work with the brilliant folks who make this book every month, and to contribute what little I can to this character so early in her career.
I love this book.
Kamala is a big deal. Her success, the book’s multiple printings, the wonderful fans that have rallied around it, all of these things tell the story of the change happening in and around comics right now. It’s such an optimistic story, and I love that I got to lend a little ink to it. Thanks to Sana for letting me be a part of this, thanks to Willow for making it SO FUN, to Ian for making me look so much better than I am. And thanks to Kamala’s fans for letting me hang out in their clubhouse for a few months. Y’all have been great company.

1. What is the best piece of advice you were ever given?
Always carry your notebook in your back pocket.

2. If you had to teach something, what would you teach?

Pop Culture and Identity: an examination of how interests and culture influence one’s identity development and growth

3. What would your superhero name be, and what would people know you for?

Star-Lord, of course.

4. Describe your life in 6 words.

passionate, insecure, caring, lazy, thoughtful, considerate

5. What is the top item on your bucket list?

Live in a city like NYC/PGH/BOS

6. If you were part of a circus, who would you be and why?

I’ve no idea, and this would probably never happen because I’m genuinely unsettled by clowns. I’d go for contemporary circuses and just want to bug everyone out.

7. What was your last dream about?

Literally was the first day of RA training, and I freaked out when I got to work and realized it wasn’t Tuesday.

8. Describe your perfect day off of work.

Doing anything that isn’t work. That simple; that easy.

9. If you had the ability to wake up with the complete knowledge of one topic, what would it be?

Food. Cooking, baking, all that biz. I want to be a master chef. Not professionally, just in my personal life.

10. Which celebrity would you want to be stuck with in an elevator?

LAURA JANE GRACE OR JEFF ROSENSTOCK

11. Pogo stick or unicycle?

Pogo stick.

here we go party people

1/ if you could change one thing about yourself, but no one would realize it/would just start acting different towards you without realizing or acknowledging why, what would you change?

2/ knowing the world was going to end in the imminent future, what would be the first thing you could do, if money was no object?

3/ is there a time in your life where you were almost or definitely totally happy, and would you go back in time to that place (the one catch being that your life will go in a different direction from that moment and you cannot come back to this timeline [think back to the future 2]). what is that place/time?

4/ is there a movie that you wish was your life? in what ways would that movie be different if you were the lead?

5/ pick your favorite band/artist/musical act. they can now play at your birthday party and everyone will be so excited. who are they?

6/ what is one band/artist/musical act that everyone you know should give a chance and listen to? you’ve heard them so many times and you think that they genuinely may have changed your life for the better and you just want to share them with everyone.

7/ describe a day that would make you happier than you’ve been lately (note: this does not mean happiest, or the happier than you’ve ever been; just lately)

8/ is there an old friend that you’ve lost touch with? if you’ve answered this question honestly, will you then try to reach out to that person? do you know how?

9/ what is a hobby that you have, and that you wish you could devote more time to? is that a hobby you would like as a career? or are you satisfied with it staying as a hobby?

10/ what kind of family would you like in the future? kids? no kids? married? not? suburban? urban? rural? fill me in, dudes

11/ what do you struggle with? what’s something that you know that you aren’t good at (professionally or otherwise) that you’re not only struggling with, but certain that others are not only better at that thing than you, they also look down on you for not being competent?
